Sponsored Abseiling

I am pleased to say I have had a positive response from our leaders when I mentioned a Sponsored Abseil!
I have yet to make a few phone calls but we hope to plan this for next year as soon as weather permits. Please be reassured that there will be trained abseilers with us and the safety of the children is paramount.
The children do not have to do it but if memory serves with the Cub Group I had in Portmahomack, a little gentle persuasion to do it once and they couldn't wait to get back up to do it again! Parents are also welcome to come along and watch!
We would also ask that if any parent/s are trained abseilers or abseil regularly to come forward as the more volunteers for this event the better! More details in due course!

Football fundraiser great success!

Many thanks to all who contributed to our football fun day which proved to be another success. More importantly we have heard from numerous people that the children thoroughly enjoyed the day.
We raised £540.00 and the staff from the Highland Deaf unit were thrilled as this means their children can now get a computer or the funds can be put to a fun day of their own. I am sure I can say on behalf of all our leaders/helpers that the children in the deaf unit deserve every bit of happiness they can get so we were very happy to help.
Many thanks to the staff of the Highland Deaf Education unit and also all leaders, helpers and parents with donations, baking and help setting up.
A huge thank you to Ross-County coaches and Donnie for once again enabling us to have such a great day!
Keep watching for further events coming up!

Registering for Football fun day

Any children that wish to attend our football fun on 25th Sept could you please register now with Jean as places will be limited. Please see events for details. It would be lovelyl to see a good turn out of Beavers/Cubs.
We have also been given our first donation for the bottle Tombola and if we could kindly ask parents for any donation towards either of these stalls to hand items in on a Friday evening. Many thanks.
